At RSA, we express handle suitable claims worth up to £2,500.This means that we aim to conclude settlement within 24 hours* by collecting important information to validate the policy cover at first notification, and making payment by the customers preferred method. *core working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

1. WIDER SCOPE - As well as Commercial Property claims, RSA express handling now applies to Construction, Power, Engineering and Renewable Energy claims. 2. IMPROVED APPROACH - Express settlements are no longer reliant on required information arriving within a pre-defined time frame. As long as we receive the required information promptly and without detrimental delay, we will still seek to express the claim.

1. Acknowledgement of eligible express claims and settlement agreed within 24 hours of receipt of the required information 2. Settlement by BACS, or cheque if preferred 3. Development of a clear plan of action, detailing the next steps to progress towards a settlement, should the claim be unsuitable for express handling.
