With the imminent introduction of the new GDPR ruling we know that some partners and brokers hold a small supply of policy wordings locally to present to customers at new business, renewal or on an ad hoc request.
We have updated all our policy wordings ready for live date but locally held stock you have will not have been updated. Whilst it is still ok to use your existing policy words in order to run down stock, customers do need to be made aware of the new privacy notice that will be in place.
To assist with this we have put together the attached document. This Important Notice supersedes the existing Data Protection wording that can be found in the “How we use your information/Data” section of the policy booklets. This notice should be included with all policy wordings presented to the customer, until such time that your local stock has been replenished with new.
