Legal expenses facilitates access to law and justice by providing legal advice and covering legal costs of a dispute, regardless of whether the case is brought by or against the policyholder. Depending on the national rules, legal protection insurers can also represent the policyholder out-of-court or even in-court.

Who to contact?

Commercial Lines products (Non Motor)

Arc Legal Assistance is our support partner for commercial and personal Legal Expenses Insurance (LEI) and will provide:

  • Customer support via an advice helpline
  • Claim notification via an online portal
  • Provision of flexible management information.

Existing claims will continue to be administered by CIGNA, our previous partner. Both CIGNA and Arc Legal Assistance use the services of Lyons Davidson Solicitors to administer LEI claims, which also ensures consistency.

Claims Notification and Advice Line numbers contained in policy wordings remain unchanged (other than by exception where policyholders will be advised separately) and will continue to route through to Lyons Davidson.
