The 1st July 2008 sees the Government introducing the second phase of their energy management regulations designed to reduce carbon emissions.
Since 6th April 2008 any building over 10,000m2 has required a valid Energy Performance Certificate (EPC). The 1st July 2008 legislation reduces the size of buildings that need a certificate to 2,500m2 - which will affect hundreds of the UK's commercial buildings.
